How does VanuEdu Pro handle multiple schools?
VanuEdu Pro is a multi-tenant platform. Each school gets its own subdomain (e.g. yourschool.vanuedu.com), fully isolated data with Row Level Security, and its own public website. School data is never shared between tenants.
What payment methods do parents use?
Parents can pay school fees via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) directly in the portal, or via bank transfer to the school's Vanuatu bank account (BSP, ANZ, Bred, NBV, Westpac). Cash payments can also be recorded by the finance officer.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes, on the Growth plan and above. You can connect your school's own domain (e.g. yourschool.edu.vu) in addition to the default subdomain on vanuedu.com.
Is the AI Tutor safe for students?
Yes. The AI Tutor uses Claude by Anthropic and is scoped to educational content only. Teachers can view all student-AI interactions. The system prompt restricts responses to the student's subject and grade level.
What happens if we exceed our student limit?
You will receive a notification when approaching your limit. You can upgrade your plan at any time. We never delete student data — you simply upgrade to accommodate growth.
Is there a setup fee or contract?
No setup fees and no long-term contracts. You pay the monthly subscription and can cancel at any time. We assist with data migration and initial setup at no extra cost.
Does it work on mobile?
Absolutely. VanuEdu Pro is designed mobile-first. Parents, teachers, and students can do everything from their phone browser. It works perfectly on any device.
